ORANGE SWEET BREAD          Linda Wesemann

 

2 1/4 cups flour                           2 eggs

3 tsp. baking powder                   1 cup milk

1 tsp. salt                                     1 cup chopped nuts

3 tsp soft butter                            1/2 cup grated orange rind

3/4 cup sugar                             

 

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.  Cream butter and sugar together and

add eggs one at a time.  Mix sifted ingredients and milk alternately into

sugar/egg mixture. Stir in nuts and orange rind.   Pour batter into 9x5x13

greased pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
